How to add your first product

Adding a physical product takes about ten minutes the first time. This follows the form in the order it asks.
Before you start
- Photos. One to five. Daylight near a window is enough.
- The packed weight. Weigh the parcel with the box and filler in it.
- Your price. Item, packaging, postage you absorb, fees on the sale. What is left is yours.
Required fields: Product Name, one image, Category, Description, Retail Price, Weight.
Step 1. Choose the type
Open Products, start a new one, pick Physical product and press Continue. Digital is marked Coming soon.
Note. The type cannot be changed once the product has been ordered.
Step 2. Basic Information
Product Name. What someone would type to find it. "Handwoven rattan basket, medium", not a collection name.
Product Images. Up to five. The first is the cover shown on listings. Drag to reorder.
Category. Searches as you type, and you can create your own from the same box.
Step 3. Description
Say what it is, then answer what the photos raise: size in numbers, material and care, what is included, and anything that would be annoying to discover after buying.
Step 4. Price and stock
Leave Variations off if the product comes one way.
- Retail Price. Above RM 0.
- Quantity. What you can send today.
- SKU. Optional, your own code.
Step 5. Weight
Under Shipping, the packed weight in kg. Without it the checkout cannot show a real shipping cost, and you cannot book a courier when the order comes in.
Step 6. Advanced settings
Collapsed, and none of it is required. Open it for package dimensions, which matter for anything bulky, a packaging fee added to the customer's total, or to turn reviews off for this product. Delivery Options shows Shipped via Platform and has nothing to choose.
Step 7. Save
Save as draft keeps it private, so you can read it on your phone first. Save and publish puts it on your storefront. Either way you land on the edit page, where every later change is made.
Several sizes or colours
Turn Variations on. The editor opens in place, under the switch.
Name the axis in Variant type, for example Size, then add each Variant value by typing it and pressing Enter. Add variant gives you a second axis if you sell by two things at once, say size and colour.
A Variants table builds underneath, one row per combination, with Price (RM), SKU, Stock, Weight (kg) and Active. Price and Weight are required on every row.
Two things change. Price and stock come from the variant the buyer picked, and the Weight field under Shipping disappears, because each variant carries its own.
Common questions
Why will the form not save?
Something required is missing and the form scrolls to it. Usually Weight or Category.
How many products can I have?
500 per storefront. Active and draft count towards it, archived do not.
Can I change it later?
Yes. Everything is editable on the edit page, including publishing a draft.
