What happens after an order comes in

What happens after an order comes in

An order comes in. What do you do, and when do you get paid? Two things move from here, the parcel and the money. This follows both.

Step 1. The order is paid

Open Orders. A paid order sits in the To Ship tab, marked Awaiting Shipment.

The money is held under Berkedai Protected until the order is delivered. It is settled to you after that.

Step 2. Arrange the shipment

Open the order and press Arrange Shipment.

The courier and the Collection Method are already set. An order within Malaysia is Drop-off at a collection point. An international order is Pickup from your location, and you choose a Pickup Date, from tomorrow up to two weeks ahead.

Press Arrange Shipment again to confirm.

Step 3. Print the label

You land on Shipping Label. Shipping label (A6) and Packing List (A6) are already ticked. Press Print documents and stick the label on the parcel. An international order adds a Commercial Invoice (A4), which you sign and attach.

The order now reads Awaiting Collection.

Note. Until the courier has the parcel, you or the buyer can cancel the order, and the buyer is refunded in full. After that it cannot be cancelled.

Step 4. The parcel moves

Once the courier has it, the order moves to the Shipped tab. The Shipment card shows the courier, the AWB and Track parcel. You update nothing by hand. Tracking comes from the courier.

Step 5. Delivered

When the courier confirms delivery, the order moves to Completed and the Earnings card fills in: Revenue, Platform fee, Shipping handling fee, and You earn. Until then the card says the fees are worked out when the order settles.

Step 6. The money is released

The settlement waits at least two days, then is released automatically. Allow up to three. If the buyer presses Confirm Received on their order page, it is released at once. The timeline marks this as Settled.

Step 7. Withdraw

Open Finance, then Withdrawals. Released money shows under Available to Withdraw. You need a verified bank account.

With a verified account, your available balance is paid out automatically every Monday. Withdraw Funds is for when you want it sooner. The first withdrawal each week is free, and the Monday one counts. Any further one that week carries a fee, shown before you confirm.

Common questions

Why is my order still in To Ship?

If it reads Awaiting Shipment, it is waiting for you to arrange the shipment. If it reads Awaiting Collection, it is waiting for the courier.

The order is delivered. Why can I not withdraw yet?

The settlement is still inside its waiting days, or your bank account is not verified yet. If the buyer's bank is disputing the payment, the settlement is held until that is resolved.

What does Returned mean?

The parcel was not delivered and is on its way back to you. Stock is not added back automatically, so update it once you have the parcel.
