Registering, verifying your email and getting into the dashboard
Sign-up is one short form. You choose your store name and address, confirm your email, sign in, and the dashboard shows what is left before your store can open.
Step 1. Fill in the form
The page is called Create your account. The fields, in order:
- Email. Use one you can open now. The verification link goes here.
- Store Name. The name buyers will see.
- Store URL. Your web address. It ends in .berkedai.com.
- Password and Confirm Password.
- A tick box for Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Store URL fills itself in from your store name as you type, until you change it yourself. It takes 2 to 30 characters: lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens, starting with a letter or number. It is checked as you type. A green Available means it is free. A red line gives the reason it cannot be used, such as a name that is taken or reserved.
Your password needs at least 8 characters, with an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter and a number.
Press Create Account. It stays locked while the address is taken or still being checked. If the email already has an account, the error shows under Email.
Your address can be changed later, but only once in a while. See changing your shop's web address. It is easier to choose well now.
Step 2. Check your email
The next page reads Check your email and names the address you used. Open the message and click the link.
Nothing else in the dashboard opens until this is done. If the email has not arrived, check your spam folder, then press Resend verification email. It waits 60 seconds before it can be pressed again. Back to login signs you out, which is how to start again with a different email.
The link works for 24 hours. After that, sign in and press Resend verification email for a new one.
Step 3. Click the link
The link opens a page that says Email Verified! Press Back to login.
You are asked to sign in once more. That is on purpose, not a fault. A welcome email follows.
Step 4. Sign in
On Sign in to your account, enter your email and password and press Sign In.

If you forget your password
Press Forgot password? beside the Password label. On Forgot your password?, enter your email and press Send reset link.
The page says that if an account exists for that email, a link has been sent. The link expires in 1 hour. Typed the wrong email? Press Use a different email.
The link opens Reset your password. Enter a New password, enter it again under Confirm password, and press Reset password. The password rules are the same as at sign-up. Then sign in with the new one.
If an old or broken link says it is invalid or incomplete, press Request a new link. If you ask too often, you will be told to try again in a few minutes.
Your first dashboard
From top to bottom you may see:
- A prompt to secure your account with two-factor authentication. Set up now opens it. Dismiss hides it.
- The Your store card, which reads Almost there until setup is done.
- Getting started, with two tasks: Add your first product and Set up shop location. Each line opens the page that does it.
- A help prompt. Chat on WhatsApp opens a chat with us. It goes away once setup is done.
Your store is not public yet. Start with adding your first product, then follow publishing your store for the shop location and going live.
Common questions
I never got the email.
Check your spam folder, then press Resend verification email. The link lasts 24 hours.
Can I change my store address later?
Yes, but there is a wait between changes. See changing your shop's web address.
Why was I signed out after verifying?
It is on purpose. Sign in once more with the same email and password.
